Olympus M1 and Nissin i40

edited December 2016 in V6 II Compatibility
Hi,
I have Olympus OM-D E M1 + 2 Nissin i40 flashes. They work fine in RC TTL (using the small FM-LM2 flash as a trigger), also in HSS,  except in bright sunlight, for instance.
Therefore I need a radio- triggered system. I also need  TTL and HSS, and control of flash modes from the camera.
Now, would this system work as I wish: two Cactus V6 II transceivers, with Nissin i40 on top of them + one Cactus V6 II on the camera for triggering and control. Maybe the spring from the camera's hot shoe must be removed.

The V6 II does not support wireless TTL. So you only get:
    1. Wireless HSS
    2. Wireless manual control of flash power and zoom level.
We haven't tested the an i40 for Olympus so we cannot be sure that it's compatible, however likely it would work considering it runs on digital TTL protocols, which is what the V6 II communicates in.

    Thank you.
