Fuji x-t2 and elinchrom d-lite rx4

Hi!, today just try to trigger with force HSS and the flash not fired. Trying with 2 cactus v6II, elinchrom normal skyport also, sync audio cable(stereo), all the combination of this things, only lastest cactus firmware, x-t2(ver. 1). Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

  • Hello @shutter10

Does your D-lite RX4 supports HSS natively?
Do you need Elinchrom's own transmitter to activate HSS?

Unfortunately we don't have any Elicnhrom gear to test it out for you, but the general rule is, if you connect the V6 II RX unit to the studio strobe (Elinchrom unit) via sync cable, the V6 II will detect it as a manual flash, and the flash duration needs to be 1/100s or longer at t0.1.

    I hope this helps.

To help us better help you, always state the exact firmware version installed on your Cactus device(s), such as: "1.1.013", "NIK.A.001", "v.103", or "A06".

TTL or HSS not working on Cactus V6 II and V6 IIs? Be sure to check hot shoe connectivity by doing the <CAMERA INFO> check.

  • The Elinchrom D-lite RX4 has a long flash duration and there is no need to switch anything on it to work with PowerSync on the V6II. I use the previous D-lite 4IT version with the V6II and Olympus OMD cameras at above x sync speeds with great success.

I recently had a chance to use the Elinchrom HS Skyport for Oly / Pan instead of the V6II. Once again, the results were excellent wth the D-lite 4. But I would have to say that the V6II and Skyport HS worked equally well. Win win.
  • Thank you so much Antonio and C88, I will try with Powersync, after that will share my results.
