FYI: Nissin i40 for Fujifilm: Lo Power settings (below 1/128)
To those who are using an i40 for FUJI, from our recent tests (FUJ.1.002), when you are using M mode from a V6 II to manually control power outputs and set it at a very low power output below 1/128, the flash fires at a very high power, maybe full power? This happens when it was set to below 1/256. This is likely due to the software of the i40 where 1/128 was perhaps already its minimum.
Therefore we recommend not to adjust the power below 1/128 when you are manually adjusting power outputs of the i40 for best performance.
To help us better help you, always state the exact firmware version installed on your Cactus device(s), such as: "1.1.013", "NIK.A.001", "v.103", or "A06".
