Possible to use triggers in manual mode on Fuji?

Hi, I like TTL for some cases but for the most part I'm finding it incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes the flashes don't fire (maybe a recycle issue) But generally exposures are all over the place, too dark one frame and then the next is overexposed.

Is it possible to setup the triggers and camera so that I can use my flashes in manual mode. I'd like to set flash meter, set power and ratios and know that I will have consistent exposure frame to frame.

Could someone offer some advice?

Also, if I lock the flash power in TTL mode, does adjusting the flash power from the trigger have any effect? I was getting over-exposure so locked flash power and then adjusted the power via the trigger but the exposure stayed the same.

Thanks!

  • Besides TTL, you can switch the V6 II into M mode by pressing the group button. The attached picture shows the display when it's in M mode. To adjust power , simple scroll the wheel dial.

    I hope that helps.
