Will Cactus V6 get update to support Olympus FL600r
Will Cactus do a future update to the V6 trigger profiles to support the Olympus FL600r flash ? the flash works with full TTL pass through using the FL-50R profile but having a dedicated one would iron out some small bugs.
Is the hardware to handle such an update or do we need to wait for V7 ?
Very impress with the units and build quality.

When you use the FL600R as an off-camera flash unit, you will need to set it M mode, so manually controls its power on the flash unit, and only wireless flash triggering, no wireless control.
Yes you can certainly TTL passthrough your Oly flash on a Oly camera, and at the same time wirelessly power control a 430EX mounted on a V6 (RX). If you are using TTL passthrough, you can't "control" flash power outputs per se other than + / - EV.
Hope this helps!

So the answer is, no unfortunately.
In order to do remote power control, the flash must be in TTL mode when mounted on a V6 RX unit.
Despite the Cactus V6 can remote control TTL flashes, it is still just a manual flash trigger, so it does not support HSS / FP modes.
You may consider instead the Cactus RF60. It's got a built-in radio transceiver just like the V6, so you can it as a Slave flash as well as a Master flash to control other V6 or RF60 units:

It has a GN of 56 @ISO100, so much more power than the FL600R, at GN36 @ISO100.
At moment, only these Olympus system flashes are supported to do remote power control on the Cactus V6:
- Metz 44AF-1, 52AF-1, 58AF-2;
- Olympus FL-36R, FL-50R;
Thank you.
