Safe sync / trigger voltage V5 and V6 triggers

Reading through the documentation of both the V5 and the V6, I can see that they can handle voltages up to 300V. However there is no mention of reducing the voltage to a safe level for dSLRs.

Can somebody officially confirm that the trigger voltage is indeed reduced to a safe voltage?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, the camera is not exposed to the flash's trigger voltage.

There isn't a direct connection between the hot-shoe connectors and I also measured the voltage myself.
  • Can that be added to the specification ;-)

    Thanks for the reply.
