V6 Working with V5s
in V6 Questions
Hi There. I'm not quite up to speed with how these commanders work so I have a question . . .
I currently have five V5s. I obviously use one on my camera as a transmitter and the rest on my lights as receivers. My lights can range from Nikon and Yongnuo speedlights to a studio light (with sync cable). I'm over adjusting the power of all my lights manually and wondering if the V6 will work as the commander where I can adjust the power of the lights individually by sending signals to the V5s on all my lights?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

For remote power control you will need at least two (2) V6 transceivers. And this only applies to compatible flash models so your studio strobe cannot be adjusted.
See the list of compatible flash models:

Some analogue TTL flash models can also be "profiled" via the learning program:

While digital-only TTL flash models may still work by using other digital TTL flash profiles:

On the other hand, the V5 only provides basic flash triggering signals. You may leave one V5 unit for the studio strobe, connected via sync port.
Hope the above helps!
