  • I have reset both V6II and RF60 but the problem still exist.
Does any X-T1 owner here still have FW 4.31 backup anywhere that I can have, please?

Perhaps I should try to downgrade it back FW 4.31.

    Thanks
  • UPDATE: After removing the metal plate on X-T1 and set "Work Range" = SHORT on V6 ii, I am now able to do HSS on X-T1 FW 5.0 and V6 ii FW 1.1.005.. But my Nikon D3 can no longer do HSS :(
  • I have the same problem with late flash sync 1 sec behind shutter with V6II and RF60 have not found a solution on my X-T10. My D800 will no HSS with V6II and RF60 either.

This is weird! We do not have a D3 to test in the studio.
Anybody else shooting on a Nikon D3?

Did you try re-LEARN HSS again?
Or Factory reset then redo, auto-detect > Fujifilm, LEARN HSS, and turn on Forced HSS?

As for your D800, another photographer we know uses the D800E and no problem getting HSS to work on 1.1.005 on his V6 II.  Are you able to repeat this on other V6 II?

Hi @basz, if you could confirm HSS working on your X-T10 on V6 II running 1.1.005 that would be great.

    Thank you all.

To help us better help you, always state the exact firmware version installed on your Cactus device(s), such as: "1.1.013", "FUJ.1.002", "v.103".

For the time being, Cactus V6 (MK1) running on firmware version 2.1.001 can be triggered by a V6 II (MK2) running on Multi-brand HSS firmware (e.g. 1.1.013) and not by X-TTL firmware versions: PEN.A.001 and OLY.A.001.  No schedule has been released yet.

Cactus RF60X / RF60 Firmware versions A01 and A02 currently ONLY works with PEN.A.001 and OLY.A.001.  Other "A" version of X-TTL firmware will be released soon. For both Multi-brand HSS and X-TTL firmware versions (FUJ, SIG, SON), install firmware version 103 / 205 on your RF60X / RF60.

Cactus RF60 is now an off-camera TTL flash with firmware version 205 or later!

Metz M400 (for Fujifilm) is now supported on the Cactus V6 II (HSS and TTL).

    Intersting findings, @basz.
Technically it should be the same, either oyu learn at 1/1000s or 1/2000s.

But then every camera behaves drastically different. So maybe X-T10 users should do LEARN HSS at 1/2000s or above.

  • @Antonio,
    Hi Antonio,

I was just wondering if it's possible for the next FW update when V6 ii (TX) mounted and detected Fuji camera then Force HSS will be automatically be at "ON"?
  • Hey @shutterbug, I just replied on the other thread.
