Fujifilm X-Pro2 HSS with Nissin i40
Dear,
I still don't seem to get the HSS working with the X-Pro2 and the Nissin i40 flash.
The V6 II's have the latest firmware, so does the X-Pro2 (v2.01). The flash settings on the camera are set to TTL.
The flash does flash, but the camera shows a black image. I re-updated both the camera and the transceivers, nothing helps. I also tried to use a Metz 48-1 flash for Sony with HSS (only contact it has is the middle contact through a conversion piece) there it sometimes works.
Any idea how I could get it to work?
Thanks in advance for the help!
Regards,
Andreas

The Nissin i40 for Fujifilm DOES NOT SUPPORT HSS NATIVELY.
So it's impossible for you to do HSS, unless you could hack i40's firmware
Thanks!

It seems that it does work with this workaround:

It doesn't give you TTL, but all in manual mode it works fine. Only thing it only works till 1/4000s..
Despite I don't understand how a Canon TTL cable would trick it...
Thanks @totheheart
