Compatibility with Nikon Mitros & Broncolor Siros

I've got two uses that I hope the V6ii will fulfill. First I have a Fuji XT-2 system and I have a Phottix Mitros flash dedicated for Nikon that I would like to make work with HSS. I believe that would work according to the documentation but anyone that can verify that it would be appreciated.
My second question involves using my XT-2 and my broncolor Siros studio strobes. I want to see if I can get a hypersync function to get up to around 1/2000 shutter. With the V6ii receiver. I know I won't get TTL but that's not important. All I'm after is getting past my 1/200 max sync on the camera when shooting with window light.

  • The V6II is suitable for Phottix Mitros for Nikon. With V6II, you can use the Fuji X-T2 to trigger the Mitros in HSS with power control.

The answer is yes for the 2nd question. With V6II, the Fuji X-T2 can use HSS for Siros studio strobes.

By the way, to use HSS on Fuji, you need to use <LEARN HSS> and <FORCED HSS> in the V6II. The detailed instruction is listed on the Quick Start Guide and user manual.

  • Ray, would I need to put a V6II under the the Mitros Flash or will it sense the radio on its own?
